I remember the size and scale of the towers very well. The weekend before 9/11 I went to a concert in Liberty State Park, and took the ferry over from the WTC Marina. For the whole slow ride there and back, I just looked up at the sheer bulk of the towers. The tops were covered in fog.
Then, on Tuesday, they were reduced to almost nothing. Totally mind-blowing.

I think most people would just shrug and go on with their lives. Many would probably say they knew all along.
The bigger question is how disclosure would be filtered through the MSM. Since you basically can't have "disclosure" without removing the traitors controlling the MSM, you have to imagine the kind of world we could have without the lugenpresse tearing it down. Under those conditions, the sky is the limit.
