If you do not know the full truth, then how do you know I am mistaken? You come across as triggered, friend.
I said that my preference is the 4 books of the new testament, the red letters specifically. I've never entirely thrown out books like enoch. But I do toss most of the nag hamaddi into the trash after having researched it for a long time. You want to inhale that stuff, then by all means enjoy your recent archaeological findings.
The texts of the textus receptus are comprised of manuscripts found all over- You could quite easily make an argument that these were (like the internet is) kind of outside the churchs full control.
Revelation was tacked onto the end of the bible, by a hallucinating "john of patmos" as a form of damage control to keep christians from realizing how much hope they have. To keep them from realizing that God Wins. That is what I think, and that is where my research has led me thus far.
If you have anything I haven't seen already, I'm willing to check it out. I reassess my beliefs on a daily basis. I do not believe my God condones the murder and sacrifice of innocent women and children. A strong moral compass will do you a world of good when you dive into this kind of research.
