IMO Huma did not leave him because he was 'cheating'. She had to leave him because the plausibility of their sham marriage was no longer tenable.
These higher up power couples are not married in the way anons are married or think about marriage. There is a political, legal and social component to all of these sham 'marriages'.
They cannot be forced to testify against one another. They place one or the other on the other side of an equation (think Bruce & Nellie Ohr) so that they might capitalize.
