Excellent post. Same goes for Hispanic-American communities.
I tell my family and friends that white privilege should be called white reputation. They should be proud and not ashamed. I work in education and the poor white kids are being told this. I make sure to speak up. I am Hispanic/Middle Eastern mix and gay, so they can't really give me any trouble for speaking up. :-P
