Since everything that happens seems to "not be a coincidence", I've been searching for why this hurricane would be headed towards North Carolina.
North Carolina is the first settlement in America - before the pilgrims. A side note - it is also where the Wright Brothers made their first flight. Maybe there is some significance in destroying the place the was settled first - North Carolina - and Virigina next - hence Virigina Dare.
