Stayed up late in my timezone to get to a moment when you're posting Q. Sorry for blogposting, but.
I recently came into contact with a navy veteran, on disability, possibly due to an accident since he seemed to be a middle-aged person, but I didn't want to pry. I learned from him in detail what veterans on disabilities have to deal with and it made me angry - from his words, VA hospitals offered only the minimum measures of care for veterans on disabilities, and psychiatric/mental care was limited to keeping them popping pills and staying docile.
I know that there's not much I have in common with service men, but they always had my deepest respect for sacrificing their peaceful lives to protect nations. Trump has done a lot for veterans in the USA so far and I salute those efforts, but if there's any chance to better the fate of disabled veterans, please do something about it. It cannot remain like this.
