William H. Swanson, former CEO of Raytheon, is one:

He made huge contributions to the school, which has helped to give it one of the largest endowments of any non-PhD-awarding colleges. Personally, I hope he's one of the good guys, because it makes a difference.
One last insider detail: recently there was some controversy because a stupid frat kid wore blackface. It was a dumb mistake, and he's been getting death threats over it. The President condemned it, but also said that students have to learn to deal with free speech, even if they vehemently disagree.
That's the biggest reason why I chose it.
Another interesting fact: California being the way it is, a huge "diversity" program has been instituted as a result. I was quite surprised during my visit to see that they mentioned Mr. Swanson, Weird Al Yankovich, and several newscasters as famous alumni…but Devin Nune's wasn't mentioned at all. I thought that was an injustice.
