FORGIVENESS REQUIRES JUSTICE
Forgiveness has dominated the conversation in my household the last 2 days and I had come to the conclusion that I could forgive if there was justice then Q posts "NEVER FORGIVE" twice and gets me rethinking and digging on the subject.
an interesting quote from Herman Bavinck's Reformed Dogmatics:
"Forgiveness in the true sense of the word precisely presupposes justice and stands or falls with it."
I think that I'm leaning towards justice and forgiveness are possible but they are part of a journey to healing and we CAN NOT start that healing process without JUSTICE!
