While the trade wars created upset, the market LOVES Trump. To be fair, the market usually favors Republican presidents, but the Trump bump was even better.
IMO, the trade wars jostled those "bubbles" probabilities, leaving more confidence in the market (since it didn't crash!). Still a win.
