Not sure. From a laymanโs point of view, the Chanโs and other websites would either have to comply with the EUs regulations or block all IPs from the EU.
People in the EU would might have to use VPNs in other countries to get around the electronic curtain.
If EU bans VPNs like China did then its back to analog I guess.
Copyright Protection as a control point had been the goal for the past 25 years. We still have an Internet.
