Explanation of skewed polls.
There are two polls that have been out over the past two weeks. The ABC/Wash Post poll and the CNN poll. Both polls show Dems ahead by 14%. These polls were conducted during the Manafort/Cohen legal issues, the NYT op-ed, and Woodward's Fear book.
The polls were conducted by two different organizations with different sampling sizes. Yet they had the exact same % breakdown of political identification. What are the chances of that?
25% Republican
34% Democrat
41% Independent and other
The biggest issue in these polls is that the answers are changed based on "known population characteristics".
The headline in both these polls is that over 50% think Trump is doing good with the economy.
