They don't hate America. They love America. They get to control our money, our entertainment, our legal system, our news media, and our government. For that privilege, they get 38 billion a year from America taxpayers.

Having a belief is not illegal so what punishment would they receive other than a massive butthurt because their gods have fallen?
If they break the law, they have to be responsible for those acts. Do you propose letting them attack people and destroy property and not face justice? What about the victims of their attacks?
That said, hopefully, the evidence they will see will be enough to convince the majority of them. You can help explain it to them.
There is no law against stupidity (good thing for most people). But destroying property or hurting people is another matter because of the victims.
