National unity was/is never about skin colour or race. It's about the ability (or lack of it) to cohere around a foundational, worldview - like the Constitution and its statement that human rights are GOD GIVEN to all humanity, and are not awarded by governments (one group of humans to another.)

Without a foundational belief in a Creator God and God-given rights, the Constitution loses it bite and becomes little more than any other statute imposed by government. That's where the disunity starts - where opposing political idealogues fight it out regarding which faction is going to dicate to the others.

I agree - multi-culturalism cannot work - ever. But that's not what I'm saying. If a nation allows immigrants it must always be that the immigrant adopts the host nation's culture. If the host nation allows immigrants to impose their own cutural-religious beliefs, (multi-culturalism) then a problem arises. Competing cultures will always end up with one uppermost, and it may not be the original cuture of the host nation.

There is probably some truth in your genetics argument. However, if a host nation with a Christian foundation and Constitution, per the US, were to disallow the building of pagan temples/mosques etc, then immigrants may think twice before emigrating to a country where they were disallowed from practising their religion in public.

Therin lies another debate. What are Western values? From where I'm sitting, Western values have become so degenerate and corrupt that they no longer reflect their Christian foundation.
