"Funding cures" means funding Big Pharma. They are looking for developing expensive drugs and treatments, but they will never allow the people to aquire knowledge about cheap cures. Only sick people bring the money.
Without these massive amounts of carbohydrates and without processed foods, people wouldn't be overweight, have diabetes, be prone to infections, loose their teeth and have arthritis.
I would say: we need you! And you maybe much happier with your job in better, more honest pharma firms that produce "real" drug that cure people.
