Senate Democrats Refer Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh to the FBI for investigation

Senate Democrats have referred a letter concerning Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh to the FBI for investigation.

“This matter has been referred to the FBI for investigation,” Sen. Dick Durbin (Ill.), the No. 2 Senate Democrat and a member of the Judiciary Committee, told BuzzFeed News on Thursday about the letter.

A source familiar with the matter confirmed to The Hill that the letter had been referred to the FBI for investigation.

The letter has been the subject of days of intrigue on Capitol Hill but the contents of it have not been publicly disclosed by senators who have seen the document.

Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) the top Democrat on the Judiciary Committee, has refused to answer multiple questions about the letter over the past two days.

QAnon: How do you demonstrate 'reasonable cause' to regulate and/or break up BIG TECH?

This article comes amidst a recent post from QAnon on 8ch, which suggests that massive censorship occurring on the “Big Tech” and leading social platforms will result in a swift and decisive war against them per the Trump Administration.

The endlessly overdrawn battle towards protecting our free speech comes after President Trump has blasted each of the tech giants for their bias.

With Google censoring pro-Trump news and searches, Facebook ranking its users similar to Communist China, and Twitter having first silenced multiple Conservatives with deceptive tactics? The President has been able to organize his support and motivate the base even more because Americans feel that their rights are trampled upon.

In the upcoming 2018 midterm elections, unless the left wing attempts to cheat their way towards victory, they simply don't stand a chance.

It will be not just a “Red Wave,” but a “Red Tsunami” that wiped out the Democratic Party in the 2018 midterms.

7 NYPD Cops Arrested Dozens More Investigated For Running Massive Prostitution Ring

At least seven NYPD cops have been arrested and dozens more are wanted for questioning after they were busted running a massive prostitution ring.

New York, NY — This week, it was reported that seven NYPD cops of various ranks have been arrested for being involved in a massive prostitution and gambling ring. The officers have reportedly been under investigation since 2015 when the city’s internal affairs department received a tip from a whistleblower in the department.

Two detectives were placed on modified duty after the arrests, but it is not clear what their relation to the case is. An additional 30 police officers are wanted for questioning in relation to this investigation. Forty other civilian suspects were also arrested in the investigation, according to an NYPD spokesman.

NYPD Commissioner James O’Neill told News 4 New York that,”Today, those who swore an oath and then betrayed it have felt the consequences of that infidelity. The people of this Department are rightly held to the highest standard, and should they fail to meet it, the penalty will be swift and severe. The internal affairs bureau initiated this probe and in doing so, has sent a clear message: there is no place in the NYPD for criminal or unethical behavior,” O’Neill said.

On Wednesday, the Brooklyn South Narcotics building was on lock down as investigators searched the premises and looked through the lockers of different officers.

The officers are facing charges of enterprise corruption, promoting prostitution and official misconduct.

‘We’re not agents’: UK’s suspects in Skripal case talk exclusively with RT’s editor-in-chief

Alexander Petrov and Ruslan Boshirov told RT’s editor-in-chief they had nothing to do with the Skripals’ poisoning and are now scared to go outside, after the UK pointed to them as Russian intelligence agents on a kill mission.

Read the FULL TRANSCRIPT of RT editor-in-chief’s exclusive interview with Skripal case suspects Petrov & Boshirov

UK prosecutors claimed their names were not real, but Alexander Petrov and Ruslan Boshirov have confirmed their identities in an interview with RT Editor-in-Chief Margarita Simonyan.

Both men said emphatically that they were not Russian intelligence agents and were merely sightseeing in Salisbury. They said they wanted to visit the “wonderful town” of Salisbury but realized they came at a bad time – and not just because of the wet English weather.

The subsequent accusations caught them completely by surprise.

The two men told Simonyan they went to London to “hang out,” and decided to also visit Salisbury upon the advice of their friends. The town, situated close to the world-famous Stonehenge, also attracted them because of the Cathedral Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary, “famous not just in Europe, but in the whole world.”

Sex Abuse in England Primary Schools 'Prolific,' Teacher Tells Sputnik

The scale of sexual abuse and bullying between classmates in Schools in England is "prolific and increasing," a teacher who wanted to remain anonymous told Sputnik. "It's a huge concern to me both as a parent and as a teacher."

A new report published by the British government's Women and Equalities Select Committee reveals the scale and impact of sexual harassment and violence in schools.

According to police figures in England and Wales, one child is raped in school every day and in primary schools and three sexual assaults are reported to the police every school day.

"I never thought this would be part of my role as a teacher and as a parent it makes me feel very concerned that my child is at risk in a place that's supposed to be a safe environment," a teacher who wanted to remain anonymous told Sputnik. "At my school in London we frequently had to shut down Whatsapp groups to prevent images going viral."

The British government is accused of failing to collect information on the number of sexual assaults carried out in schools in England but despite the lack of data on the number of incidents when sexual violence or rapes take place, the parliamentary committee has been able to determine the scale of the problem through research, surveys and questionnaires.

Research carried out by Public Health Bristol City Council confirms the findings that sexual bullying and harassment is a 'widespread, regular and common problem.'

Nolte: New York Times Covered Up Google Tape’s Most Newsworthy Details

The New York Times reported on the explosive Google Tape back in March but chose not to informs its readers of virtually all the key details revealed during this company town hall.

On Tuesday, Breitbart News obtained video of an hour-plus long company meeting at Google that took place shortly after the 2016 presidential election. You can watch the full video to judge the context of these individual quotes for yourself — but in my view, what you have here is a smoking gun proving the biggest Internet search engine in the world (by far) intends to abuse its corporate power to affect the outcome of elections, to manipulate searches in a way that will result in political outcomes desired by a multinational corporation and Silicon Valley.

Company co-founder Sergey Brin tells his employees: “it’s worth being very vigilant and thinking about all these issues, what we can do to lead to maybe a better quality of governance and decision-making and so forth [emphasis added].”

Company CEO Sundar Pichai sees AI and machine learning as a “big opportunity” to fight “misinformation.”

Both men reference Google’s “Jigsaw” project, which hopes to fight extremism in part by using machine learning to redirect suspected extremists to handpicked content aimed at changing their opinions. This was pitched as a tool to fight the Islamic State — but here, Google executives are talking about it in relation to law-abiding voters.

Company CFO Ruth Porat promises that Google will “use the great strength and resources and reach we have to continue to advance really important values.”

Kent Walker, VP of Global Affairs, says of the Deplorables defying the globalist elite: “we have to work so hard to ensure that it doesn’t turn into a World War or something catastrophic, but instead is a blip, is a hiccup.”

We now know the New York Times had access to and viewed this same video and could have covered these statements all the way back in March — but chose not to.

A Times piece published March 30 and titled “Silicon Valley Warms to Trump After a Chilly Start,” opens with an anecdote about the now-infamous Google meeting:

Two days after Donald J. Trump won the 2016 election, executives at Google consoled their employees in an all-staff meeting broadcast around the world.

“There is a lot of fear within Google,” said Sundar Pichai, the company’s chief executive, according to a video of the meeting viewed by The New York Times. When asked by an employee if there was any silver lining to Mr. Trump’s election, the Google co-founder Sergey Brin said, “Boy, that’s a really tough one right now.” Ruth Porat, the finance chief, said Mr. Trump’s victory felt “like a ton of bricks dropped on my chest.” Then she instructed members of the audience to hug the person next to them.

FBI Kicks Local Sheriff Out, Locks Down Scene of Mysterious Happening at New Mexico Solar Observatory; Town Evacuated

Something strange is happening at the Sunspot Solar Observatory in New Mexico, and there’s only one thing we know for certain: It’s not not an alien.

The solar observatory and a nearby post office have both been evacuated and closed until further notice “due to unforeseen circumstances.” But the reasons why the facility was vacated — and exactly when it was vacated — still remain a mystery to the public.

“We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you; however, due to unforeseen circumstances, the Sunspot Solar Observatory, including the site, is temporarily closed, until further notice,” a cryptic message on the observatory’s website says. “Thank you for your understanding.”

The story gets even more mysterious. Otero County Sheriff Benny House told the Alamogordo Daily News that his department has no idea what’s going on and has been asked to remain on standby during the facility’s evacuation. He also said the FBI is involved.

“The FBI is refusing to tell us what’s going on,” House said. “We’ve got people up there that requested us to stand by while they evacuate it. Nobody would really elaborate on any of the circumstances as to why. The FBI were up there. What their purpose was, nobody will say.”

“But for the FBI to get involved that quick and be so secretive about it, there was a lot of stuff going on up there,” he said. “There was a Blackhawk helicopter, a bunch of people around antennas, and work crews on towers, but nobody would tell us anything.”

House said that officers went to the facility to evacuate it but were not given any specifics about why.

Tim Allen comes to Trump’s defense, says Americans should let him do his job

Actor and comedian Tim Allen defended President Donald Trump and his presidency in a recent interview and said that Americans should probably just let Trump carry on and do the job he was elected to do.

What are the details?

In a wide-ranging interview with Entertainment Weekly published Thursday, Allen — a famously right-leaning Hollywood star, though not necessarily a vocal Trump supporter — discussed his thoughts on Trump’s presidency and the reluctance of many U.S. citizens to simply live and let live.

In describing his political stance, Allen called himself “kind of an anarchist if you see my stand-up [comedy],” but acknowledged that he endorsed Ohio Gov. John Kasich (R) during the 2016 presidential election cycle, and not Trump.

Allen did, however, attend Trump’s inauguration.

“I’m for responsible government that actually does what we pay them to do,” Allen explained. “I’ve worked different jobs and I’ve had a colorful past and I pay a lot in taxes. I wish we got more for our money. Whatever political party is for more responsible use of our money — that’s all I meant.”

He added, “In Los Angeles, I’m concerned about the 26,000 homeless people and I do the best I can. I’m concerned about keeping my roads and stuff clean in North Hollywood. Generally, the government is no help and people have to do that themselves. Kasich said that in a speech — that the government can’t do stuff that you won’t do yourself. Jump in! Do whatever it takes to get people engaged — not putting on a hoodie and screaming in the streets — but actually figure out how to help North Hollywood or Encino or wherever you live to get better.”

Allen went on to explain that he’s never liked taxes, mainly because he doesn’t “like paying people tho never seem to do what I would do with my money.”

Is Allen now a Trump fan?

When asked by the interviewer whether he is now a Trump fan, Allen explained that what the public sees on Twitter is not necessarily an accurate interpretation of the president.

“You know,” he began, “it’s a very loaded question. I’ve met [Trump] at the charity event years ago, and that certainly doesn’t fit with the man who tweets. I’ve met a lot of people in private whose public persona is a bit off.

“My perception is ‘let’s see what [Trump] gets done,'” he explained. “Let’s stop banging on the pilot’s door and trying to pull the guy out of his seat while he’s still flying. You might not like how he’s flying the plane but let’s let him land it.”

“Do I like him or agree with him? … I don’t know,” he remarked. “Somebody got this NAFTA thing done. How did that happen? It’s like a slight of hand with this dude. There’s this smoke and smelly food but over here he just fixed a pothole.”

Allen went on to note that the “theater” of the political arena is transfixing.

“[Trump] doesn’t do it very attractively, but you don’t even realize the economy is doing better. … Maybe it took this type of guy to get stuff done because it was so stuck in the mud,” he added. “I’m just watching the theater of it and trying to keep my personal opinions out of it. What difference does it make whether I like him?”

The comedian’s sitcom “Last Man Standing,” debuts on Fox on Sept. 28.

Dozens of people who used to work for Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign and a number of Clinton initiatives went on to work at Google, and vice-versa.

At least twelve employees from the Clinton Global Initiative, the Clinton Foundation, and the Clinton Health Access Initiative went on to work for Google, while at least fifteen Google employees went on to work for Hillary For America. The list was originally developed by Adam Townsend on Twitter.

Ann Coulter: Trump Son-In-Law Jared Kushner Probably Wrote Anti-Trump Op-Ed

Conservative firebrand Ann Coulter told The Daily Beast that Trump son-in-law and White House senior advisor Jared Kushner might be the anonymous "resistance" author of the infamous New York Times op-ed that shook Washington last week.

"Because he and Ivanka are going to have to go back to the Upper East Side and go to the Hamptons," Coulter reasoned. "They’re probably worried that Trump will be removed within the next few years. They had just gone to the McCain funeral, and [the op-ed] was right after Labor Day, so they were probably feeling wistful for the Hamptons. And the only way they can get back in is if they can say, 'Don’t worry, we’re the ones who stopped the wall.'"

Coulter has made it clear that she's no fan of Jared. The "In Trump We Trust" author has complained about Jared and his wife, eldest Trump daughter Ivanka, being included in the administration. "They’re lovely people but, boy, I think Trump voters can say this was a bait-and-switch," she told The New York Times in March. "There was no intimation during that 18 months of the most magnificent campaign I’ve ever seen that, 'Don’t worry, I won’t go to the White House without Jared and Ivanka and I’ll be setting policy to make sure they lose no friends in the Hamptons.' I always suspected they were back in New York denying they were related to him."

Coulter has categorized Trump's choice to hire his family, such as Jared and Ivanka, as "the one fascist thing [Trump's] done."

Last year, the fiery pundit mocked Jared for his "awful" advice and Trump for taking it.

"I don’t particularly want to attack Jared, but, OK, there was 'Fire Jim Comey, it’s a great idea.' There was 'Endorse Luther Strange, it’ll be a great idea.' There was 'Let’s start with tax cuts, because that’s what Mitch McConnell wants.' There was 'Let’s hire Anthony Scaramucci—he’s fantastic, Pops!'" Coulter similarly told The Daily Beast.

"And, on a larger point, there’s his prison reform, which you’d think would be a little embarrassing for a guy whose father spent time in prison," she added, referencing Jared's father, Charles Kushner, who served 14 months behind bars for tax evasion, election violations, and witness-tampering.

It's unclear if Coulter was being totally serious about her accusation or merely expressing her known frustration concerning Jared yet again.

MAGA: U.S. ‘Likely’ Has Taken Over As World's Top Oil Producer

The United States has "likely surpassed" Russia to become the world's largest oil producer, the U.S. Energy Information Administration said on Wednesday.

Based on preliminary estimates, America — which earlier in the year surpassed Saudi Arabia — is now the top producer, marking the first time since 1973 that the U.S. has led the world in output. The landmark also beats a prediction that the U.S. would not achieve the goal until 2019.

"Fracking," shorthand for "hydraulic fracturing", has driven the boom in the Permian Basin under Texas and New Mexico, the Associated Press reports. When gas prices topped $4 during the Obama administration, many producers turned to fracking and output soared.

"The U.S. energy agency estimated that the United States produced an average of 10.9 million barrels a day in August, compared with about 10.8 million barrels a day by Russia and around 10.4 million from Saudi Arabia. It said the U.S. passed Saudi Arabia in February for the first time in more than two decades, and this summer it topped Russia for the first time since 1999," the AP said.

Both Russia and Saudi Arabia passed the U.S. in the 1970s when Americans suffered through the "gas crisis." Few thought the U.S. would ever top the list again.

And production is expected to grow even further, OilPrice.com reports.

Conditions are ripe for a further increase in U.S. production. With sanctions against Iran due to enter into effect in November, oil prices will jump higher even though the market has had several months to adjust to the new situation with lower supply. The United States has ensured a cushion of 11 million barrels from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve, and OPEC and Russia have promised they would pump more if it is needed.

The Gulf of Mexico and Texas will continue to lead the way in U.S. production, with Texas—and more specifically the Permian—shining particularly bright. EIA’s latest drilling productivity reportsaid production in the Permian averaged 3.387 million bpd in August, and is set to rise to 3.42 million bpd this month. All in all, the shale patch contributed 7.43 million bpd to the national total in August and will contribute 7.522 million bpd to the total in September.

CNN’s Avlon: Trump’s Climate Policies Could Lead to ‘80,000 Unnecessary Deaths Every Decade’

During a Thursday “Reality Check” segment for CNN’s “New Day,” political analyst John Avlon weighed in on President Donald Trump’s complicity with hurricanes.

According to Avlon, if the United States continues to ignore climate science, “the cost of lives and dollars will escalate.”

“On the same day Trump was discussing [Hurricane] Florence, his EPA proposed rolling back restrictions on emissions of methane. That’s just the latest environmental policy targeted by the Trump administration,” Avlon stated.

He went on to note how two Harvard scientists claimed Trump’s policies and getting the country out of the Paris Climate Agreement could lead to 80,000 deaths every decade.

“It is so bad according to two Harvard scientists said it could lead to 80,000 unnecessary deaths every decade,” said Avlon. “Warmer water means more intense storms. When President Trump called Hurricane Florence tremendously wet, he was actually on to something.”

He later concluded, “This isn’t rocket science, folks, it’s climate science. And as long as we continue to aggressively ignore it, the cost in lives and dollars will escalate. That’s your reality check.”

Judge Linked to Bruce Ohr Delays Release of Ohr Docs

Conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch sued the Justice Department in March of this year for docs and records related to Bruce and Nellie Ohr and Fusion GPS.

On Thursday, President of Judicial Watch Tom Fitton attended a hearing along with JW counsel Ramona Cotca to obtain Bruce Ohr docs after months of stonewalling from the DOJ.

The Judge assigned to the case admitted he previously worked with Bruce Ohr at the DOJ and delayed the release of Ohr emails to December 1st (after the midterms).

The Bruce Ohr-linked Judge also gave the DOJ until February of 2019 to turn over calendars (dockets).

Twice-demoted DOJ official Bruce Ohr is still employed by the Justice Department even though emails and texts revealed he was working as a backchannel for the FBI to continue communicating with Christopher Steele.

FITTON: Judicial Watch had court hearing today Ohr-Fusion GPS docs.We will get emails by 12/1 but stonewalling DOJ gets until Feb 2019 to turn over calendars. The judge in case admits he worked w/Ohr at DOJ and may be on the calendars. Standing w/JW attorney Ramona Cotca after hearing,

Democrat Senator Defends ‘Well Justified’ Harassment of Republicans By Leftists Over Judge Kavanaugh

Chris Coons, a Democrat senator from Delaware, recently said on Meet the Press that the harassment of Republicans by leftists over Judge Kavanaugh was well justified. It’s amazing that Chuck Todd even asked him about it but his answer was equally stunning.

The Washington Free Beacon has details:

Coons Dodges on ‘Extreme Tactics’ Used Against GOP Senators, Praises ‘Well-Justified’ Passion of Left-Wing Activists

MSNBC’s Chuck Todd asked Coons about mailed coat hangers, threatening voicemails, and other tactics directed towards senators who may vote to confirm Kavanaugh.

“I’ve got to ask you about some of the tactics, about some of these special interest groups,” Todd began. Todd mentioned the “coat hangers sent to Senator Susan Collins’s office, some really nasty voicemails that have been played, you know, the tactics.” After recognizing that “there’s a lot of passion,” Todd asked of the tactics, “What do you make of ’em?”

Coons seized on the general idea of passion and avoided commenting specifically on the threats made against his Senate colleague Sen. Susan Collins (R., Maine). “There is a huge amount of passion, as I think the whole country saw,” Coons replied. He noted that passion has been exemplified by the many arrests made during Kavanaugh’s confirmation hearings and the many calls made by constituents, and he called those actions “well justified.”

Is this why Democrats never call off their rabid supporters? Because they believe their actions are justified?

BREAKTHROUGH: Afghani Parliament may Revoke U.S ‘Invitation’ to Occupation

Most parliamentarians in the Afghani parliament voted to revise the country’s security agreement with the United States, including allowing permanent US military bases to remain on Afghan soil. This major development comes in light of Kabul, Beijing, Moscow, and the Taliban having attempting to organize a grand meeting to establish a solution to the US occupation in Afghanistan.

“The idea [of a revision] was put forward by some Parliamentarians in the Chamber of Deputies on Monday and was approved by the majority of the parliamentarians by means of a vote on Wednesday,” 1TV channel reported.

This agreement allowed US military forces and bases to remain in Afghanistan after the US combat mission ended in 2014, the report said. However, security conditions continue to worsen as the number of civilians and security forces killed by terrorist attacks increases.

The report indicates that the current Afghan government continues to support the US presence as necessary to strengthen the country’s security forces.

Despite US claims that they will remain in Afghanistan to improve the country, Kathy Kelly, co-ordinator of Voices for Creative Nonviolence, said that American permanence has to do with Washington’s intention try to send a message to other countries in the region.

The US-led coalition in Afghanistan completed a combat mission in December 2014, marking the formal end of the longest war in American history. Even so, US troops remain in the country to supervise, train Afghan soldiers and provide military assistance whenever requested.

But the people of Afghanistan are not the ones who are benefiting from the United States, who act as a world police force, Kelly said on Tuesday.

“The beneficiaries are the people who sell guns,” Kelly explained.

“It certainly did not create a safer place for people to live in Afghanistan,” he said.

Since Friday, Taliban militants and Afghan security forces are being held in a deadly battle in Ghazni province. At least 90 soldiers and about 200 militants have been killed, according to the Afghan Defense Ministry. Offering operational support, the US carried out multiple air strikes and sent military advisers to help Afghan officials.

Citing Transparency International, Kelly said US-designed projects to help Afghan residents fleeing the Taliban-occupied areas are not really helping locals.

“It is a curious situation because four times a year a report is filed […] and they have listed through much documentation … corruption and mismanagement of the United States presence in Afghanistan … where the money was invested in projects that filled the pockets of contractors and did not even produce what they had planned,” she said.

Although the locals are also experiencing one of the worst droughts in recent years, Washington has concentrated its millions of dollars in funding for the presence of its 18,000 troops and air strikes.

“The United States is spending millions of dollars every day to keep its troops, its special operational forces and bombardments constant, while there are people who increasingly face the terror of death from hunger or thirst,” Kelly said.

According to Toby Lanzer, the United Nations humanitarian coordinator in Afghanistan, the war-torn country could “face a calamity” if international authorities did not intervene and offer aid against the drought, Al-Jazeera reported. The last major drought ended after the region was hit by large blizzards.

Kelly added that “the US desire to remain in the country has nothing to do with the humanitarian concern to protect the people of the Taliban.”

“It is a maintenance of a greedy and controlling system and a desire to send signals to other countries in the region that the United States will not leave,” he concluded.

Experts have analyzed the various reasons for the US occupation in Afghanistan, citing its vast natural and mineral resources including lithium, opium trade, as well as being part of ‘containing’ Iran.
