I posted the Pics. When I finally get a clear day I will look at the sun and take some pics, but no promises that I will actualy see anything unusual. The sun rotates, too, and an anomaly could be on the far side. In the NE here it's been cloudy for days and I havn't even seen the sun.

If your scope is a refractor, it shouldn't get dirty inside. if it does, you'll have to disassemble to clean.

dust mote. it appears out of focus because its on the lens. normally you can process those out, but that's a raw picture. took several pics in that series and they all have that in the same part of the frame, even if the sun moves. i'd need to have calibratd with flat fames to remove it.
