Private charity is NOT 85% efficient. It is a none taxable way for people who are rich to offload finance in the directions of relatives who then work as charity directors for six figure sums. Big charity is actually run by volunteers in programmes ( free labour) and many big charities spend less than 3% of their donations and cumulative profit from volunteer labour on actual recipients that the charity was set up to provide for (tax free) So no charities are not the answer to inequality that is created by capitalism and macro economics that push globalisation and land gobbling as a mechanism to enslave a work force into producing an economic excess for those at the top of the pyramid or ponzi scheme.
