A SENIOR GOOGLE research scientist has quit the company in protest over its plan to launch a censored version of its search engine in China.

The line down the middle of the Yin and Yang is most significant. It represents the 'dao' or the balanced mitigation of order and chaos. Chaos is not inherently evil, in fact it's a necessary counterpart to order. One side is tyranny, the other, anarchy. The middle path is ours to find.
