Local values would take place and they might look a lot like the next town over and the differences would be just fine and adaptable if needed, like a family moving. Families would already be prepared with a student that has learned how to learn anything they want or what's "necessary". The latest trends and findings in neuroscience would help in developing learning methods. More internships, apprenticeships, job shadowing, relevant skill development, scouting individual student talents would rise, what they lack would be apparent and be given proper assistant, student self-esteem would rise, the next generation wouldn't look for nannies everywhere for approval nor permission to use the toilet, some might still be knuckleheads but within the family and community they would be guided towards something constructive and/or creative. Moron administrators would disappear overnight. You'd spot them a mile away. Time would be used more effectively. Grading would evolve past self-esteem damaging symbols. Rule follower good students would still be good but not limited to being good because they follow all the rules. Tons of shit would happen. The natural flow of self-policing and discernment would guide the direction of education and learning schooling would be the common denominator. People would be happier and smarter in the long and even short run. Dried ink on paper or 1's and 0's < everything being more humane and rational. Lots and lots of things. It would be exciting. Can't wait!
