If they ever hope to have a serious job working in, perhaps, a big corporation, whether they become a scientist, software engineer, accountant, CEO, human resource professional, or whatever, the skill to stand in front of a conference room or a big auditorium and give a presentation will be VITAL to their success. Schools SHOULD be teaching this skill and letting students practice giving oral presentations with slides. This is a necessary job skill for successful professionals in the 21st century.
We are supposed to listen to little kids with zero experience in the adult world advise us on what job skills they wish to learn or not learn? Not!
