From the Manafort plea deal, the Senator appears to be Lugar.
Perhaps they went after McCain after Lugar lost in 2013.

Soros and cabal were trying to do a Purple Revolution after the election, akin to the Orange Revolution they did in Ukraine to overthrow the vote results.
