Brine lakes "Jacuzzi of despair" Proves that there can be self contained environments within a body of water. These underwater environments have their own ecosystem that cannot exist outside of its boundaries. And also organisms that exist outside these "lakes" cannot survive inside them.
I propose that our earth is on of these self contained zones that is optimal conditions for our ecosystem to thrive.
