One thing that stood out to me was that people had been pre-selected without their knowledge based on the bloodline in their DNA.
It sounded very much like they were making subtle references to "services" like 23andme (and Ancestry.com) both of which collect your DNA samples as part of their "service".
Purple representing the elite bloodlines also seemed like an overt reference to (((them))) as well.
