WEIRD: FBI closes National Solar Observatory over mysterious ‘security issue’
(Plausible theory)
Could be part of the take-down of the international 'Cabal' or 'Deep State' or 'Global Mafia' or 'Oligarchs' (choose your label lol). The CIA's satellites AND supercomputers were taken out at the end of August (recorded fact). It may be that these observatories (and the post office too) were being used by 'black hats' to either spy or communicate with each other, since their primary comm systems were destroyed two weeks ago. This would explain the complete media blackout on these shutdowns, and also the MIB-style 'extremism' of the 'evacuations'. Just think critically for yourSELF, and use LOGIC (Occam's Razor for example) to guide your conclusions ;-) FACT: When operations like this go down, with INTERNATIONAL SIMULTANEOUS COORDINATION, and the public is intentionally NOT informed AT ALL, then it is NOT conspiracy 'theory' but conspiracy FACT that 'the government is hiding something from the public.' Duh. Observable FACTS cann0t be 'dismissed' simply by labelling something with a phony Clowns-In-America psy-op term. Trust The Plan ;-)

UPDATE 9/12/18 4PM PST The issue may be related to Mercury (the metal, not the planet). On a tip from a science journalist friend who covers telescopes and who has been there, I verified the observatory uses a vat of liquid mercury as a float bearing for the giant solar telescope. According to an internal NSO/NMSU document, that bearing is “high-risk” during maintenance. If there was a major mercury spill, it might explain why the Feds are there, with FBI providing security. The amount of Mercury is said to be in the “tens of gallons” range, which is next to impossible to come by in the commercial market these days, and if it were weaponized, it would make a very nasty dirty bomb. Perhaps there’s some security issue with the mercury on-site.

I have spent many hours digging on this, when I first started, I read about the UK's participation in the operation of the solar observatories through AURA (Aura, the company that co-manages the Observatory with NMSU) now, when you try to access the sites, NOTTA! The fact the news articles are removed, gives above (plausible theory) cre·dence?
It would be nice if Qanon would chime in on this mystery..
