>The program would allocate $400 million to the National Institute of Standards and Technology, $625 million to the Department of Energy, and $250 million to the National Science Foundation. This money would serve to train scientists, expand research, and establish up to 10 quantum research and education centers, five each from the DOE and NSF.

>Statements from Smith and co-sponsor congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson (D-Texas) make it clear that the bill is meant to keep the US competitive internationally.

This is huge, actually.

Anon many breads ago speculated that these old fucking observatories all need shipments of mercury to operate either the lenses or some other component of the scopes to make them do what they do.

Dipshit at observatory orders mercury online from "Get-your-chemical-agents-to-wage-a-terrorist-attack-right-here.com"

Dipshit in logistics fails to package it correctly

Dipshit at destination postoffice goes "Oh, what's this shiny shit coming from package?"

USPS goes apeshit, and calls the feds thinking Imam Abdullah Shishkabob Bin Muhammed is up to fuckery, and observatory gets taken offline. Rinse/repeat for each of these facilities fixing their equipment because now all these facilities are suspect.

If this postulation is correct, it implicates that there are terror cells operating in Universities. Think about that for a moment. If untrue, then likely a comedy of errors leading to an overreacting Gov't (better safe than sorry). If neither of these are correct, then:

  1. Deep State MSM slide

  2. Someone doesn't want us to see what's coming (Supermassive solar flare, etc).

I mean, if there are other solar observatories online, still, then we can assume the sun is still there, and spoopy aliums are NOT coming to get us. Besides, Q warned us against this shit:

UFOs are a slide. This, too, might just be a slide from Deep State, since a lot of these observatories are connected directly to universities, which are controlled by them.

Just a guess, anyways.

This is why I'm leaning towards a mercury leak/comedy of errors situation. They wouldn't tell all those folks that they were likely exposed and getting ready to have a massive brain malfunction. That's something the gov't would totally sweep under the rug. 10 years from now, when they all die of brain rot, no one will connect the dots to the observatory.
