Potential Major Biohazard Risk in NC:

This is a map of swine farms in eastern NC. The hold roughly 9 million pigs in total. The waste from these pigs is held in large waste lagoons. If/when these lagoons over flow the potential for contamination of ground water could be massive especially when considering the swine in eastern NC are producing the same amount of fecal waste every day as 100 million people.
