So reading an article regarding explosions in MA- and got to this part quoting Lawrence mayor:
“Rivera also issued a plea to undocumented immigrants in Lawrence, requesting that they stay in "the light."
"Lawrence is one community," he said. "Do not be afraid. … We will support you."
“Stay in the light”??? Does that strike anyone else as odd- made me think of the underground tunnels theories anons were discussing…
Am I missing something regarding that statement?
