I know what you mean. I've been taking opioids for 3 yrs. And haven't a clue when I'll be off of them. Severe back pain. Thing is, they don't really help all the much. Just take the top edge off. But I won't take more than I'm prescribed. Just suffer. Yeah. I know. Smoke a joint right? I'm allergic. I have extreme asthma attacks that send me to the hospital. So I'm kinda boned.
Yeah. I was thinking the same. Like they worked together and made some awesome breakthrough, got taken out in mass. Take out the working group, destroy or co-opt the research. Easy peasy.
