Isn't there a metric shit ton of mercury on site? As to the post office being shut down, and the hill evacuated, well, there aren't any people there to get mail. If the "security threat" is real, it seems apparent someone mailed something destructive to the observatory. The Nibiru stuff seems nonsensical; closing one observatory doesn't stop people watching the sky.
