I'm another scanneranon. Though I didn't listen to this…I should probably listen to the recordings if any. Usually in my experience for really good stuff they go to their backchannel. I wish I knew how to dial in. My officer friend has one and it knocked my socks off how much moar shit I heard.
If they were talking ominous on the regular channels it could be a show for anons listening, or there was fuckery they didn't bother going on backchannel. They will talk frankly on certain bands. I've heard detective bands where theyre staking out a person, and following them. Not sure I'm supposed to but I do.
