Former Obama White House counsel Greg Craig retains lawyer William Taylor III, founding member of Zuckerman Spaeder law firm.

The case was referred to federal prosecutors in the Southern District of New York to consider charges against Greg Craig and other Democratic Party players.

Craig is being looked at due to possible failure to register as a foreign agent under Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA). Manafort just pleaded guilty to FARA violation so if the SC has seen others with FARA violations, he would be under pressure to submit those charges too or claims of bias with gain traction.

Craig also previously worked for Skadden Arps law firm who is also under investigation for foreign influence peddling.

Tony Podesta was also referred around the same time in early summer.
