The problem is, most humans no longer have or never did have an "operating" (insert word of organ in the brain) that would enable them to practice this medicine. HOLY COW ignorant much? Kratom acts on opiod receptors, it is NOT an opiod. That is why addicts USE Kratom to withdraw from opiods. Replacing an addiction for an addiction (heroin for Kratom) is and should be an option for addicts, and many many people have gotten OFF Heroine / alcohol by using Kratom during withdrawals. DO SOME addicts replace? YES of course. But banning Kratom because SOME people misuse it is like banning pain medicine because some people get addicted (oh, wait).

Kratom is a plant medicine, as such she gives you what you need. If you need it for pain, you will sort out how much and what strain is best for your pain and you will be pain free. Which is better, Using opoids or a natural plant. BOTH have withdrawal symptoms, ask a Herioine addict which withdrawals they'd rather go through, Heroine or Kratom.

I've been using Kratom for 4 years, the same dose, 1/2 to 1 tsp in the morning and same at night, depending on how bad I'm hurting. I do not drink or take any other pharmaceuticals, nothing..no tylenol, prescriptions, NOTHING. I also tend to me liver to make sure it's functioning at full capacity and I've not had a single problem with Kratom. I don't want to stop taking it, in fact I dread not being ABLE to take it..because without that pain relief, life goes back in the chair.

Stop treating creator-given plants like altered, condensed, manufactured drugs. Not even in the same ball park.
