Gov Brown just signed a bill mandating that all cars sold in the State must be electric by 2045 (among other items). He doesn't care how expensive they are or their lack of range. This is why I truly LOATHE politicians in their 70's and 80's (Brown is 80) signing laws that they know they'll never have to abide by but it's a nice F' You to those left behind.
California already has the highest gas prices by $1.25 or more and they're too brain dead to realize higher gas prices leads to higher prices for everything (foodstuffs et.) because of the higher transportation costs of getting goods to market. Sacramento Politicians - Idiots one and all.
