I think we can have a lot of fun trying to figure out what the 7 extra states are… State of despair, State of Depression, the Islamic State, etc…

Well, if it was because they did or were going to see something, they forgot to shut down the other observatories… This particular one was a back-up facility and was scheduled to be shut down anyway… It's an old observatory… but yes, the mercury could possibly be related…
