MONTH LONG BAKE
I have gone through about 120 American History Textbooks from various school publishers dating back to the mid 70's. I reviewed everything about WWI and WWII like Q was saying, but I also noticed a lot related to the Civil War.
SO WHAT HAS CHANGED?
There has been a dramatic shift into making the wars up close and personal and about tragedy. Patriotism doesn't exist in these books now. They focus on protests of wars as opposed to the VICTORIES of wars. For example, WWII wasn't won because of the US, it was won because of a united global front.
They have made soldiers out to be victims of pointless wars that had no positive effect on society. They have ripped the pride right out of wearing a uniform to serve your country. General Douglas MacArthur became a murderer instead of a hero.
They are ripping out the substance behind the wars and using select facts to make us look like a country ashamed of its past.
NOW WHAT HAS BEEN REMOVED???
To put it simply…Christianity.
They have removed religious freedoms from American history. They want US to be like the rest of the world. They want one huge "happy world".
