have a friend who was Aus Navy (retired)…..did a tour to US….ended up at a well known inland "secret site" that everyone knows….was very short on stories but did say "Navy is more than the public knows…..and that site is more than you can imagine"
had mountains around it….that opened up at the sides……When I asked him why Navy sent him inland to there….he smiled….said Navy was involved in the highest level projects…..involving space and flight…..tried for years to get more, but he is not saying more.
