“export restraints” are a short term fix that will seal China's fate. Remember that if halting exports to teh US also requires China to stop making those exports, putting hundreds of millions of Chinese workers out of work and on state benefits.

Meanwhile, the US is self-sufficient, and becoming more so every day/month.

If this gamble by China fails (it most definitely will), we will be free of China's stranglehold at the same time we are freeing ourselves of the goatfuckers' oil stranglehold.

 

China won't halt exports to the US for very long … they can't afford it.

 

BTW, the Wall Street Journal is the voice of the establishment multi-national conglomerates.
