i blew the fuck up… told them invasion of my privacy outweighed any copywrite law and id be in contact with my lawyer!
my internet was back on in less than 2 minutes!
i received a call from the head honcho from out of state. he explained… the movie co put out bait torrents… my ip was in the group that was dl'ing and they wasn't spying on what i was doing.
he said they made agreement with movie co. to just turn off peoples internet instead of movie co taking cable co to court for every ip they caught.
that was a long time ago ff, i didnt even know about vpn's back then
