Exposing something requir you to have objective facts not based on opinion or subjective views.
You can come up with all kinds of theories and that is fine.. But if you do you have an obligation to state it as a hypothesis, thory or fact.
If you do not do any of those things you are by definition projecting.

So anything that comes with that has a responsibillity.
