I thought I was the only one who read that book, 30+ years ago. Is this coming our way?
China owns huge areas of land all over the world, even in the US - they're called Economic Zones. They take over a whole region (like in southern Idaho), start electing their own people to local govt. I can deal with Russians - they're basically eastern Europeans. Chinese scare me. Don't trust for a second. Figures 23andMe - Zuck and Mrs. are happy there.
People most likely to use their brains and souls, respond to reasonable discussions, are probably older people. People who grew up communicating just fine without using profanity. It's just not our style. Greater precision makes for a better argument, and that means a finer use of the language than just emoting.
