International Criminal Court

The reason we are telling them to fly a kite up their ass, is because we ARE NOT a state party of the International Criminal court. The court applies to member states, which we are not.
The question is, who is demanding they step over the boundaries? Someone is using the court to try and pressure the Trump administration. That, to me, is the real question. The pic attached shows the different states' relationship, to the Rome Statute (The pic is interesting in that it seems consistent with international political lines, as well). That is the main agreement. Back in 2000, we signed on, but never ratified. Then Bush said we are "unsigning" the Rome Statue, because of unresolved concerns with the agreement. The interesting thing is the map still shows us as "signed". I haven't gone far enough to confirm that we did in fact "unsign", but either way, we DID NOT ratify. What's also interesting, is that the ICC has 2 primary working groups, we actually host one of them in New York, even though we are not a party state. Thank God.
