Tomorrow is going to be the most dramatic day in American politics since the election.
Republicans push to give your savings account a tax cut
House Republicans, having cut taxes on business income and individual earnings, are now looking to cut them on savings, through new universal savings accounts.
The House GOP attached the accounts, allowing individuals to save up to $2,500 annually on a tax-privileged basis, to what they are calling โTax Reform 2.0" โ a permanent extension of the individual-side tax cuts included in the December tax law.
House Republicans advanced the legislation through the Ways and Means Committee last week. The legislative package isnโt expected to reach President Trumpโs desk this year, but the inclusion of the savings accounts sets up a future GOP Congress to enact them and transform the way Americans save.

Claire McCaskill in dead heat with GOP rival for Missouri Senate seat, second September poll finds
Incumbent Sen. Claire McCaskill, D-Mo., is tied with her Republican opponent as she vies for a third term in office, according to the results of a poll released Sunday.
McCaskill and GOP candidate Josh Hawley each have 45 percent support among likely voters, CBS News' Battleground Tracker survey reported. McCaskill and Hawley, the state's attorney general, were similarly found to be in a dead heat on Sept. 4 by NBC News and the Marist Institute of Public Opinion.
Sen. Jon Tester, D-Mont., is another Democrat in the throes of a tough re-election bid ahead of November's elections, according to the same CBS News poll.

Adam Schiff seizes on Devin Nunes' reveal: House Intel releasing witness transcripts would 'facilitate' Mueller's work
The release of House Intelligence Committee transcripts of all the witnesses interviewed for its Russia investigation would "facilitate" the work of special counsel Robert Mueller, according to Rep. Adam Schiff, the top Democrat on the panel.
In a statement Sunday, the Schiff, D-Calif., seized on the revelation by Chairman Devin Nunes on Fox News earlier in the day that his committee will release the transcripts from the 73 people who were interviewed for the now-concluded probe.

What happens when Ruth Bader Ginsburg leaves the Supreme Court?
I think you can see where this is going. The trajectory of the opposition of President Trump's appointments to the Supreme Court, from Gorsuch to Kavanaugh, tells us what is most likely to happen when Ruth Bader Ginsburg goes. And she's likely to go sooner rather than later. Why? First off, she's 85 years old. Second, the woman is in poor health. See her in this recent YouTube clip. It is a crying shame that someone in this physical condition is allowed to maintain such an influential position on our lives. Here Ginsburg is mimicking the clinging leftist Thurgood Marshall, who spent his last days drooling from the bench.
Ginsburg has been a leftist delight on the Court. Her replacement by a Republican president will set the Democrats, the media, and the left aflame. The swamp creatures that crawled out of the muck to oppose Kavanaugh will seem cuddly and tame compare to what Ginsburg's replacement will face. It would not be surprising if the left resorted to systematic violence. The hysteria of the entire coalition of the left โ Democrats, media, the swamp โ will be off the charts.
