Q anon has never claimed to be a federal employee. He only insinuated it, which isn't a crime. Even back when Q called himself "Q level patriot" that's not a government designation. I'm sure there are people in three letter agencies investigating they would have to officially conclude Q is a larp no matter their personal beliefs on the matter.
