The logical point everyone supporting Tom Arnold is missing, it seems to me, is that Arnold states that Burnett walked away with a torn shirt and a ripped necklace.
Um, doesn't that imply that Arnold battered Burnett (i.e., that Arnold intentionally applied a harmful or offensive touching to the person of Burnett)?
In other words, Tom Arnold just admitted that he committed a crime.
