>[Scott Pruit] for temporary supreme court judge, read the law,

ah you may want to read the law, there are no temporary supreme court apointments. the court would just continue on with the serving number of justices till a new one is appointed and confirmed

wikipedia is not a valid scholarly source you'd be laughed out of any serious debate linking it. you are also conflating the presidents ability to make an appointment while the senate is in recess with the ability to just appoint anyone he wants. the very link you provided shows the supreme court case where the court already decided the senate themselves gets to determine when they are in session or in recess. a single dem senator can present a bill or simply ramble off anything on the senate floor to keep the record open and keep Trump from ever exercising the recess appointment ability. the ability to appoint whoever he wants is a fantasy it would never be allowed to happen
