Anons… I got a wowza story from a vet tonight. Cant say who because it'll dox me.
In 1993 Clinton passed a bill to reduce money to support our military. Before the bill passed, they had several veterans testify about military support.
So vet tells me he was asked to speak in front of senate Armed Forces Committee representing the 934th Airborne. He flew out to DC with a friend. He said he went in the senate committee hearing room and only one Senator was present. John Kerry.
He said when it was his turn to talk, he said "I've been listening to all these vets talk and I just want to know why you want to reduce our military? You're a Vietnam vet!"
Kerry said, "well, we dont need them anymore."
Vet said, " I am a Marine Vietnam veteran, I spent 10 months in Nam. I lost a lot of friends. My father was an Army Captain. In my lifetime, we went to nam and lost thousands of lives, we were in Korea and lost thousands of lives, in WW2 we lost MILLIONS of lives. How can you sit there and say we don't need our military anymore?"
Kerry looked at him and said, "I don't care what you think, GTFO of here."
