The powers of darkness seek to rile up a mob against Judge Brett Kavanaugh based on an unsubstantiated action by him when he was 17 years old, which he vehemently denies actually happened. I believe him. Regardless, sinlessness is not the standard for public office or trust, and irrespective of Kavanaugh's state, we need to forcefully push against this form of attack by demanding that if sinlessness is the new standard for public office, then everyone's sins get to be exposed and used as a basis for condemnation in the same measure. In the Bible, Adam sinned; Noah sinned; Abraham sinned; David sinned, as did Elijah, as did Solomon, as did Paul, as did Peter, as did every man. Yet God used these men for great things.

The enemy is trying to frame this as if there is a single sin against a man, we should reject him from public office. Let's turn that around on them as Jesus did in John 8 - he wrote their sins in the dust of the stones in the temple, challenging them who were without sin to cast the first stone, and they went out one by one convicted of their own consciences because they were guilty of the very things they charged the woman with lest their sins be exposed.

The one thing the children of darkness fear more than all is the exposure of their sin. Bill Clinton is a rapist; Hillary is murderer; Biden is a creepy pedophile, Obama is a homosexual, traitor and liar; Feinstein is a fool and collaborator, Mueller; Stroek, Page, Brennan, Kerry are perjurers and liars, etc. etc.. All of this is about to be exposed - but we cannot use Satan's approach to merely condemn them because we caught them in a sin (or multiple sins); we must recognize there is a better way - redemption and forgiveness through Christ, and condemnation though rejection of Christ and following Satan.

Again, I don't think the evidence indicates that Kavanaugh did anything he is accused of; quite frankly, he is an amazing man, much better than any of us. Regardless, this attack on him is not to be met defensively but offensively - i completely dismiss anyone who attacks Kavanaugh based on this unsubstantiated rumor, not on the lack of evidence, but on the purported new standard (sinlessness) that has been proposed. The left has proposed it, let's apply it to them, as Jesus did. I want hearings on every form of unrighteousness of every member of Congress, the judiciary and the executive branch. If the new standard is unrighteousness, let's start with those whom we know are guilty (I'm looking at you democrats and republicans) as well as those who are no longer in Congress (looking at you, Morning Joe - let's talk about your dead intern). Really want to go there? The light is shining into darkness, and the darkness is fleeing. You will not scare us off if this is where you want to go.
