I think it's important to note that the blast residue is in the image Q posted BEFORE the "final guest" arrived.

That means the "final guest" was likely there to verify the targeted party was captured/arrested.

Or, in other words, the "final guest" was NOT on the receiving end of the blast.

That's my thought as well. The FINAL GUEST was there to ensure the mission was accomplished.
