You mentioned family caught in a cult. A cult implies blind obedience to a charismatic leader or doctrine. isn't it interesting to broaden our definition of cult to include programming by the MSM? By that definition the majority of society is trapped in a cult.
When I wrote 'deprogramming' I wasn't thinking of a cult so much as software / automation directing people's thoughts and behavior into well-worn ruts. The cult sense of deprogramming is certainly applicable.
