Does anyone know POTUS’ schedule for tomorrow? I know he is coming to Cherry Point (marine base) in Havelock NC but I can’t get there (too many closed roads) and I wanted to take my kids to greet him while he’s in his motorcade. EVERYONE I know here in N.C. knows what our POTUS has done for us. I posted here yesterday, but for those of you that don’t know, we have NEVER had an administration prepare and make resources available before a hurricane like DJT. Never. When Matthew rolled through I don’t even think Hussein came to check on us. Just knowing our elected officials care is a huge morale booster. My spouse has worked nonstop in an Emergency Department since last Thursday. They still only have partial power due to a generator and they are having to paper chart. I think he has had ONE shower with running water. It’s that bad here. So anyway, the kids and I wanted to make a sign letting out POTUS know how much we love him. Please pray for us. So many have lost so much.

Hugs right back. Please don’t forget NC. Most people think only Beach communities were hurt. The storm surge caused rivers to reverse flow and flooded inland counties along with the massive rainfall. My County is about 40-50 miles inland and we are devastated. So is my parent’s County. My dad’s shop had about 8 feet of water in it. He’s a carpenter. Rich people with beach houses can recover. Regular folks can’t. It’s so sad.
